Thank you Chris, I needed to hear this to be reminded again ( because I seem to lose this). I’m 70 and after my wake up experience ( more than 20 years ago) I feel as if I am stuck but it’s me stuck in mind trying endlessly to work things out in the process I have tried so many different things all without success as I’ve always felt there was something else I needed to do or pursue, some other practise I need to follow. To be told to “ just do nothing” is so appreciative. I love your calm demeanour as well! This never ending seeking and searching has exhausted me.

When it happened I said I’d just to a simple 5 minute meditation. It happened unexpectedly. I had been trying and meditating hard for months, but I had slowed down on my meditations and then I just said “eh I’ll just do a little five minute meditation” and within one minute it occurred. The living truth, this for me is the key, when I follow the enticement of selfishness, lust and all those things, I get led into the forest and lose my way, but there is a clearing where I stand, let there be light. When I see that my problems change from the distant and far reaching to what I hold in my hand, then I can open my hand and let go, and the things of the forest shy into darkness.
