Kinetic Absorption is pretty kickass, man. I'm basically immune to car crashes and stuff, and people can't hurt me by punching me, because I can just absorb all the kinetic energy that would be carried behind it to make it hurt. I've been reading a very interesting story with a character who uses *very* scientifically accurate powers, his first and main one being Kinetic Control. I know how deadly this power is, and I will be a walking nuke if I absorb and store enough kinetic energy. Ain't nobody gonna stop me from getting the last cookie from the package, now.
