I liked what he said about bret and Shawn being Dean Martin and frank Sinatra. Both great. Except I think bret was Sinatra and Shawn was more like Elvis. Bret being the old school classic guy and Shawn being the more upbeat rock and roll guy.

I believe him about the raised hand thing. He didn't try to take credit for coming up with the whole idea and doing it. It sounds realistic for him to have gotten the glove and seeing it connected to this moment that resonated with him.

Plus, why would he come out with this story now if it wasn't true? He gains nothing by making it up 25 years later.
