Electric Light Orchestra - Hold on tight (LP Time)[1981].

Показать описание
Time is the ninth studio album by British rock band Electric Light Orchestra, released in July 1981 by Jet Records. It is a concept album about a man from the 1980s who is transported to the year 2095, where he is confronted with the dichotomy between technological progress and a longing for past romance. The record topped the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, although it received mixed reviews due to its heavy use of synthesizers and a stylistic shift from the orchestral rock of previous ELO albums. It has since gained a cult following, particularly among retrofuturist enthusiasts. The record is considered the first major concept album devoted to time travel and ELO's most influential album. The tracks "Prologue" and "Twilight" were used in the 1983 anime opening sequence Daicon IV. A reissue of Time was released in 2001 with three additional tracks that were originally omitted from the LP.
