How to remove the Avast Safe Price add-on from your browser

i have windows 10 Home 64bit.
sorry for the audio, i have some one in the house, lol.

i upgrade to Avast free 2016 version(11.1.2241) a few days ago , and 2 days later it installed onto my Firefox 42 with out my consent " Avast Safe Price " extension/add-on.

at first i thought i could only disable it , then i found a article online on how to delete the "avast safe price" extension from my firefox. this video shows you how.

Thanks Karen, of all the hints and help on the net, your video is the most useful of fully removing it. I also didnt like the fact it was just disabled in the add on manager.

Thank you! This is the only effective means to accomplish this on the latest Avast 2017 free version that I've read about. I'm also still on wind 7. For Avast 2017, after clicking on the avast icon, the Avast menu looks different- BUT still find "trouble shooting" and then look for/follow the same language used in this older version shown here (its obsolete now). Then it finally let me delete Safe Price from wind 7 explorer without "administration" rights. In this case "administration" is NOT you, but the Avast program itself!

The "geeky" websites didnt even know this yet- wanted me to install another program to remove safe price - no way.

Thanks for the help, but if I may an easier way to get to the folder is just left click on Avast it's self and scroll down to open file . I was hating the addon cause it was doing same with google . Always appreciate a youtuber who puts out a helpful video without any BS.

Thank you so much! But typing "This PC" did not bring up "This PC" in the search. It brought up things related to it though. BUT I knew that I could get to where you wanted by right clicking on "Computer" (on desktop), then "Open" and then I scrolled down to "Computer" in the tree, and then clicked on "Local Disk (C:)." which brought up your "Program Files." One more thing. It may look like SafePrice is still in Firefox, but by restarting Firefox, it disappeared.
