The 352 or any formation that has 3 centerbacks is one of my favorite to use in Football Manager 24. Their strong defensive foundation can make your team a formidable opponent. But how do you create space in this? Well in this video we're going to talk about what player roles I like to use on how to create space and some practices you can use in your own FM24 tactic.

Every time I want to try building a new formation, I end up looking through your videos just to get further insight on player roles and such. Safe to say that I'm nowobsessed with finding balance in the formations I build. Especially since I do like to make asymmetric formations just to steer away from the norm.

That said though, could I request a video showcasing all the player roles that are focus roles (i.e. those roles that you mentioned in your other videos that when all things equal, players would seek to make passes to those players instead).

This tactic works great, i tried it with Ulm in bundesliga 2 when I took over from the previous manager in April when the team was last. I managed to avoid relegation beating almost every game even with bigger teams and I always had a lot of chances. My instructions were the classic meta gegenpress with everything that affects intensity set to the max and high press with much higher defensive line.
