That play by Marner cutting off the LA pass and getting it out of the zone on the empty netter by Tavares is the type of thing defensively that Marner does a lot but doesn't get enough credit for..

Massive win for this tight Atlantic race. Needed this one. Leafs gotta come up big against Florida and Bolts in final games. IMO gotta take 2/3 at minimum if they want a shot at 1st vs Ottawa

Havnt watched much hockey but this was a good victory for Toronto, LA is a handful really solid game for them defensively, come playoff time these are the teams that are the toughest.

Malot - threw 18, landed 11
Carlo - threw 15, landed 9
Both landed at a 60% ratio. Yes Malot threw and landed more - but Carlo landed bigger shots. The uppercuts Malot threw didn’t land. Malot landed 2 good straight rights (cut Carlo). Malot was the one rocked and sent backwards every shot he took. And he’s the one that looked at the refs when they were tied up.

Great fight. The fans won.
