A NOTE FROM KURO (2021):
This video has select scenes from the eleventh chapter of the popular crossover webcomic, 5 Years Later. As we are starting to dub the entire series, I chose these scenes from the latest chapter as a testing ground for working with the cast and crew, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Without the influence of voices, sounds, musical score, and controlled pacing, the webcomic itself can lead a lot open to interpretation. And while there are always benefits to that, the Motion Comic will allow readers to finally see 5YL through my eyes, and have a more accurate representation of each scene as intended when I wrote them. If you want the full experience of the kind of story I want 5YL to be, the Motion Comic is the best way to enjoy the series.

It kinda blew my mind and I felt stupid, OF COURSE he'd have a vision about ben too, but the scene played so well as a solo DP thing it legit made me forgot about the crossover. Glorious.

HOLY SHI-! Well that was spectacular. Extra scenes that truly do add something extra. I especially like the bit with "Jack" apologizing to Danny about the portal accident, becuz I believe that's a scene every fan of the show has imagined before. And I'll be honest...I got chills from this.

The voice actors are really giving the feel of those characters.
The Artwork is amazing.
Not to mention Kuro also edited it pretty well with all those sound effects.

Now I'm really waiting for the full adaptation of each chapter.
