(edit) literally why does this have so many likes lmao. but um here I am a good 2 years later. lemme clear up some things.

1. when I wrote this, yes I was an "edgy teen". I think I legitimately was 12 in like 7th grade when I wrote this so whoever said that, you're right !! cookie for you!
2. I was very sad.. like all the time. in front of my mom and grandma I was fine, I could laugh and talk. but I cried at night a lot. and this song kinda just helped ig? I ended up being diagnosed with like anxiety and depressed mood disorder (it's not that serious). if you haven't already noticed, 7th grade was a hard year bro
3. this day, on valentine's day, I think I got into it with one of my CLOSE friends. like we used to be each other's valentine (no homo) but u get the gist we were close. so I opened up to her abt be depressed/unhappy and she basically told me it was all for attention, her problems are worse, I'm a bad person, etc. and she snapped and was kinda like, fuck you, you're not my valentine, I don't like u.. this that and the third. so ofc that made me sad and made the lil poem or whatever lmao.
4. my self-esteem.. was shit. i hated myself I couldn't stand to look at me and the kids at school made everything worse, every had to point out how skinny I was saying shit like, "you need to go to the doctor" "you look sick" "eat more" "I'd kill myself if I looked like you" "sick anorexic bitch" you get the gist. I was well shit on lmao.
5. stuff changed in 8th grade, I was still shat on, self image was still shitty but I felt a lil bit better. made more friends started getting a lil tougher.
6. now I'm in I'm a freshman I have a great life, I moved towns, became a people person and made many friends. I joined after-school clubs, got in cool with my teachers and pretty much feel great. but ig I'll like answer question/comments in the replies too lmao✌🏾✨

so I after a serious talk with my therapist today, im getting put on meds to treat depression... yay ig. quarantine has been really rough on my mental, so we're trying something new to try to make me better.
