Over a homemade rocket stove you boil your water for the day 1/4 in each of three, 3, thrifted, coffee carafes, 1 in a thermos (carafes go batroom, kitchen sink, coffee/tea center, thermos is for evening. Then in an insulated (hay cooking) box you have your pots for soup, stew, eggs to boil, potatoes, hot cereal, poach meat. After these come to the required boil, return them to the insulated box to finish cooking. Reduces chances of repeated aromas giving you away. Reduces fuel needs, reduces your outdoor exposure . Just sharing a bit of my plan.

You've also got the Hot Tent stoves and associated oven, I've only got a little one (fnarr fnarr) but it manages to heat up the oven eventually, will eventually get a bigger one.

This is a simple yet to the point video and brilliant advice.

Well done, no politics involved or conspiracies (like certain other "prepper channels")

10/10

The good old "Straw box" slow cooker ( thermal mass cooking )and a kelly Kettle for boiling water and some decent Vacuum flasks for storing it! There may be a shortage of wood but always plenty of Twigs.

Ever heard of a 'Banjo Egg' though Leigh. So cook a runny egg, slap it in some bread, take a bite so the yoke pops and starts running down your chest. At this point you're holding the butty away to one side and rubbing your chest with a tissue to clear up the mess. However, from everyone else's POV you look like you're playing a mini banjo. Boom 🎤

Have seen Ukrainians using alcohol stoves/trangia stoves in the bottom of their oven, and have oven racking above for pots.

And have a silicone bowl that seals, (stasher brand 4cup). No brainer for making anything "instant" like noodles, mash or custard. Can turn it inside out for easy cleaning.
Also makes pretty good popcorn in, a few knobs of butter, 1/2 a cup of popcorn kernels, seal with a steam gap and microwave.

Want to find one that will fit inside a crusader mug or regular size camping pot, so can also heat food boil in the bag style.

Can you use the Heat2Eat Heating stones in a normal Stainless Steel steamer pan set??..or just a normal pan for heating up MREs??

Good points but if you loose electric power, youll loose gas and water supply also as its pumps are powered by electric.

If cooking out side, dig two fire pits one for fire pit the other to remove any smoke.

Apart from a natural solar EMP type of event or WW3, I can't see the grid being down for long for two big reasons. 1. No electricity to power all the devices that they need to track, monitor, control us
2. They can't charge us for what we can't use.
I have camping stoves etc so can get by short term, no point worrying about long term anyhow.

Why do we all think we need power for everything? Baffling to me, commen sense goes a long way. Nice video though. Christ a small Coleman propane single burner will last a year on a 20 lb propane tank. I outdoor grill all year on a 20lb tank. I won't worry about smells of food, why would i?
