Lawrence, mr drive is correct about using the original oils and better fuel for Toyota cars, however you have to consider that the engine is 1000 cc whereby you are comparing to 1500 cc engine, if you have 4-5 people in a 1000 cc car then obviously the engine is working harder and at the maximum output. The 1500 cc car doesn’t have to work hard when you have 4-5 people, I work for Toyota Dealer in Canada, I know the Toyota engines are much better then other engines.

The great problem with some uber drivers, they want to save on everything to make a 100% profit, one time i took an uber with a toyota sienta and whenever he would find a slope he put the car in neutral so that he can save on fuel not knowing or out of ignorance when you put an automatic transmission in neutral you are destroying the transmission gearbox, How does it damage the gearbox? cars are manufactured when in drive mode the oil is pumped to all channels and holes to lubricate the transmission gears to avoid friction but when in neutral the pump stops pumping because basically the ECU knows the car aint in motion, so when you roll your car by putting it in neutral mode you cause alot of friction damaging your transmission drive. another factor is the type of engine oil you use, some oil quality is too low and it dry fast when lubricating giving room for friction in the gear wheels . another factor is misconception when you go for service, you are told let us put 10, 000 km oil, yes its okay but do your oil filter takes you to 10km and air filter? Just stick to your normal 5000km and when your oil is meant for 5000 km, dont change at 5000 km change at 4, 500 km. we have seen when you change at 5000km the oil is too dirty meaning also manufacturer wants to sell by telling you its 5, 000km. Another factor Fuel, people tends to buy cheap fuel not knowing cheap is expensive, when a car consume adaltered fuel, the car will combust only 90% and 10% will not combust causing loss in engine power and also creating alot of black sort on pistons and valves, spark plugs and throtal causing many engine problem..i don't want to go deeper but the car depends on how you handle, where you service, quality of fuel .

In my opinion, any car under 1000cc is not a good alternative, most are three cylinder inclusive of the vitzs 1000cc, this car lacks power, it's weak and if you carry four passengers trust me, it won' like it, it will be overloaded. You better go with a car from 1.3cc onwards. Thanks
