a huge rep grind (that they made more difficult in comparison to the previous factions) just for nearly half of the “new” mounts to be recolors of old models is insane actually. at least with shadowlands, for example, they did have recolors but they were new models..

I hope that they change the rep connection between the main cartel and the 4 sub cartels. I get that they don't want people racing to be the first done, but there are plenty of other players who don't rush, but also don't want it to feel like a slow grind. I might just save the paragon mounts for when the next expansion is out. I did that for Legion, and it was easier finishing tasks being at a higher level. Also thanks for the C.H.E.T.T. tip for extra sub rep. I'll definitely do that. Hopefully each quartermaster is easy to find 😅

I’ve always been a fan of the “do this for a few days” quest chain mounts like Lizi and the Prismatic Snap dragon and I’m really surprised there isn’t one for this zone. Could have been like the mechanospider from Mechagon

Glad to see you back and thanks for the guide. Have to say I, like you am feeling pretty pessimistic about the mount acquisition in this patch. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but this feels like the worst parts of Mechagon all over again. I'm afraid this is gonna start feeling like a list of mind-numbingly repetitive chores pretty quickly. That said the most interesting mounts (imo) are coming from the trading post and the raid so I won't feel bad about skipping most of the world content.

Way too many reused mounts. I don't mind recolors, but don't add them all in from long grinds at the same time.

They should make warband rep buff when you hit exalted with 1 cartel you get 5% and when you get second one exalted you get 10%. Like exp buff we have right now.

i'm surprised to find myself saying that i am happy to see mounts in paragon reps! At first, i found them daunting and grindy, but i've found them to be a great way to explore and enjoy areas once they are not current content.
