Season 2 of Pose flashes forward in time to 1990. On the heels of the ballroom community establishing itself in pop culture and going mainstream, the House of Evangelista is forced to reevaluate their goals. I’m gonna miss the random barging onto the floor in a wrong category and get into a verbal fight with pray 😂😂😂 those were the best parts of the series I swear.

This has now become Candy's song. How could something be sad, heartwarming and joyful all at the same time? Love you Candy.

This might be the best death episode and send-off final scene

I hope people apply this scene in real life and realize these trans women of color mean a lot to people's lives. Just because they aren't important to some people doesn't mean they don't mean a lot to others. Beautiful send off.

All I know is Stephanie Mills is about to get her coin while I wear this song OUT in candy’s memory.

This literally made me cry the first time I watched it on TV 😭 Now watching it again it looks almost like the reception Angel receives every time she walks. 🤔

People keep asking "Why Candy? She was the fav. Why not a lesser character?"
They chose Candy because she was the favorite. This needed to hurt. Trans people are whole persons with real lives. Many forced into dangerous jobs to make a living. Her death hurts because we got to know her. Do you know how many trans people are murdered and no one cares. It doesn't make the news. Every single one of these were a Candy Ferocity. They had to make it truly hurt and it truly did.

Also she is staring in the next season of AHS which is probably taking up a lot of her time and she was unable to do both shows. Not sure, just a guest.

This had to be hands down one of the saddest moments in the history of television 📺! The entire episode from the dialogue, acting and real life storytelling shook me to my core!

Not gonna lie, when I first saw she came back from the dead to perform. I thought it was stupid. Then I kept watching and couldn't stop crying. The symbolism of getting to watch your loved ones put on a farewell performance. Brilliant.

If only we COULD have that "last dance" with our deceased loved ones before they crossed over to the other side. Sending them off .... sigh...

That little final exchange between Electra and Candy was so minimal yet so beautiful

Beautiful send off. Entire episode was great. When you see Ryan Murphy as director or writer you know it’s gonna be an amazing episode. Just hope he sticks with this show til the end and not abandon it like Glee, Nip/Tuck, and few of the AHS seasons....

I can’t stop watching this . My favorite part is when she is walking towards the back and she does the shoe hop move. It’s so beautiful- I’m going to miss candy. The part that moves me most is as she’s leaving the ballroom.. ‘this realm and her community’ the people in the other room make me think of all the folks we’ve lost to violence and disease. That made my sob. I’m thankful to Janet Mock and Ryan for making invisible more visible

Third time watching this scene. I thought I was good and then the ending when Candy got closer to the funeral doors and her parents were watching her perform. Nah, nah, I ain't good!
