One of the "goth" guys at my high school was one of the most amazing, smartest & creative people I've ever met. When he'd hear others being bullied, he'd intervene. When he saw you were having a bad day, he'd joke around to lift your spirits. Unfortunately, he passed away in a car accident sometime after graduation. RIP Shaun

I'm sorry but this was messed up in so many ways. 1. The father allowing her to disrespect his daughter is beyond crazy to me. 2. Judging and disrespecting her before even getting to know her. The message here is judge whoever you want but only feel sorry for them if they have some sort of horrible or depressing backstory. SMH. To the kids watching this, dress how you want and stick up for yourself no matter what.

What Ruby did for Harley was the most bravest thing she has ever done. Siblings always have each other’s backs.

Even if Ruby wasn't a good student and was into drugs, it wouldn't have justified the mother's treatment of her. Everyone is inherently deserving of respect, and I feel that having the mom only realize that she was wrong because Ruby was the complete opposite of her expectations takes away from the message the video is trying to get across.

As an gothic teen i relate very much, i got bullied for a while and i couldn't stand it so i told to my family and the principal and thank god that the principal and teachers are so sweet and that stuff so i don't get bullied anymore bc they all know if they say something i will just tell the teachers and then they take care of it.
