Well we are roughly a month away from the release of the GoPro Hero 13 black, ( yes it will be a Hero 13) but the question is, what will it offer/bring to the table to compete with the DJI Action 4 and Insta360 Ace Pro.
Also, the new Hero $199 camera will have an all new body style.

I sold my GoPro Hero 12 and made the switch to DJI with the wireless mic 2 transmitter and I’m never turning back unless GoPro really steps up. I’ve tried and tried for years to love, GoPro, but it just keeps failing on me in the most crucial times.

I'm not sure what they could do to win me back. Can they really come up with something that sets them ahead of the DJI and the Ace Pro? I just can't see it.

I still use my GoPro Hero 7 Black and always film in 1080p. Also have a 5 Session still working fine. 4K sometimes can be nice but anything above is irrelevant to me. I’m considering an 11 or 12 with lens mod because I’m a wide FOV freak: to me the fov is never enough… I love GoPro cameras but I use more frequently cheap Chinese brands because I often need the time stamp right on the footage. Any chance GoPro will implement this useful feature without having to put it in post production? Or maybe there’s a way and I don’t know how?

hello.. I want a GoPro Macro function, I hope they will understand that it is a matter of course and quite necessary in the camera..

Cool video, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I hope there are some new and cool changes to the 13 and I’m actually really excited to see what they do. Personally I really hope they keep the same or similar design to the 12, because I absolutely LOVE the blue speckle design. I know they got some hate for it but I really hope they keep that look. I’d also like to see better low light performance. Thanks 😊

I think the case will be larger, so they got room yr model to not over heat, and they try it of the cheaper go pro first to see the sales. Could be it like a holo twist monitor that by your wrist our of way choice and viewing twist up, they could had a outsource designer come up with space age ideas. Or maybe a head band camera lol

I’m kind of done with action cameras, I’m trying to find a Pocket 3 creators kit but seems to be selling out fast still. The prices of these action cameras keep going up and it’s still an action camera. I always appreciate your thoughts on cameras

On the GoPro hero 12 didn’t had gps in it I didn’t get it last year I got the GoPro hero 11

I still have my GoPro Hero 10. Unless the Hero 13 has some earth shattering new feature, I’ll pass. Had a Insta360 X3. But my brother-inlaw talked me out of it. I’m saving for the X4. I do keep my GO 2 handy. But I always keep my iPhone 15 Pro with me. I only got that model for the camera. Repair shop killed my old first gen SE.
