I'm sure you've heard, "getting locs will make your hair grow faster". It's not true though. Check out this video where I'm explaining why it appears to be that way.

I've contemplated getting locs on and off for years, but I’ve definitely decided to get them, and your information has been a very helpful part of the process.

Now, with that said, had I not got into a car accident on the way to the appointment, I would be saying I started my locs rather than I'm definitely getting them. (I'm good, no injuries with either party involved, just car damage.)

I love watching your locs change! 😍😍 I've been watching you since before I started my journey and I was so excited when you started yours again.

I'm so glad that you posted this video. There's so many videos with misinformation.

From another perspective, I think people may mean that their hair grows faster when it is left to do what it does in locs vs. being loose (if they are taken care of properly) you thoughts? I do believe healthy loose hair will make healthy locs.

Can you discuss loc health/retention while aging? I had locs in my 30's and cut them off when I cut some people off. Loved them but I had to let them go. I want to loc in my 40's and hold onto them now. Any tips?

I appreciate the knowledge you share in your videos! I've been wanting locs for awhile now, but recently found out I'm expecting early 2025. Is it okay to begin my loc journey during this time? Will I still experience post partum shedding?

I first began growing locs when I was 19. About every 13 years or so, I shave my head. I've noticed that as I grow older, the texture of my hair changes, making loc-ing more difficult. Your thoughts?

It really depends on the individuals regimen of hair care/healthcare. Some people’s hair does grow faster in love ( mine do )bc I leave it alone. No combing, touching unless I have to, no constant spraying, oiling etc. that’s just the way it is, everyone’s an individual & I have 4c+ hair.
