BOTW and TOTK would be too much for a live action in my opinion because of the skill aspect of the game. but having OOT and MM in that world could be amazing since those games aren't too over the top when it comes to skills but rather they make use of items that aren't too much to put into a movie.

If they say that this movie has been in production, as said in the post (1:15), for many years now, I expect a trailer sooner, perhaps during The Game Awards 2023 which are happening relatively soon. This movie, I think, will be available for the public in mid-2024 - early 2025. More information may come during the first 2 Nintendo directs, thus leading into the release in the fall/winter of next year.

This would either be amazing or terrible. I wonder if we will hear link speak since no one will be controlling him. The whole reason they made him silent in the games was for the player, at least that’s what I understand. I’ve been playing these games for so long, it would be amazing to see a movie version

They HAVE to use unknowns for Link, Zelda, and I’d also include Ganon. And I personally think it should be animated.
