Many of us know that Sec. 482 Cr.P.C is used for quashing of the criminal proceedings but I want to know that after registration of an FIR if police does not complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned court and such investigation remains continued unnecessarily since a long time then in such circumstances, does an accused have right to approach the High Court for a direction of completion of such investigation within a stipulated period of time by filing an application Sec. 482 Cr.P.C ? Kindly inform.

Honourable Mam, thank you very much for this valuable information, I want to ask you if in a criminal case a accused who is innocent and he have already filed the discharge application in the year 2019 in Delhi District Court, Dischange application is pending since long and it is affecting the mental health of the accused as he is innocent and a VICTIM . Mam, Can that accused who is innocent and a VICTIM of circumstances can go to Honourable Delhi Hight Court for quashing the FIR under section 482crpc or is there any other remedy which can provide releif to him from this false case.

Hi Deepanshi,
My brothers has been implicated in false Posco Act(363, 366 and 7/8) for Money. He is 17 year old and doing Btech From Aktu Lucknow. Police has arrested my brother fraudulently and created false evidence under Section 161 and sent him to jail after being kept in police custody for 4 days and submitted false chargesheet in the court.While my brother's name is not even mentioned in section 164, statement.Police are putting someone charges on My brother.I am very disaapoint this kind of law.Already Bail got rejected from Lower Court.Now I have Appeal in the High Court but not sure that it will be happen or not.If Do you have any suggestation Please help....
