We’ve done all these, except Seadream. Aside from # of passengers, Azamara and Viking should be grouped as Premium with Celebrity. They don’t compare to the others on the list at all.

Regent Seven Seas is actually the number one luxury cruise ship. Unlike all other cruise lines described in this video (and they are all nice), ONLY Regent includes all specialty dining, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all gratuities, airfare, port excursions, 1-night pre-departure hotel stay all ground transportation between the airport, hotel and cruise ship and is an ALL SUiTE ship! NO small balcony rooms or indoor cabins !! NO OTHER LUXURY CRUISE LINE INCLUDES ALL OF THESE AMENITIES THIS CRUISE LINE SHOULD BE LISTED AS THE NUMBER 1 LUXURY CRUISE LINE!

I’m a single guy who cruises alone, so I wish you had covered the subject of single-supplement discounts. For years, my line of choice was Crystal, and I enjoyed discounts from 125% to 170% on staterooms with verandas. But after Abercrombie and Kent purchased the line, they stopped single-supplement discounts entirely and instead re-outfitted the ships with about 10 single-occupancy staterooms per ship. But they’re all on the smaller side, on a lower deck, and none have verandas. That’s a deal-breaker for me…

I find it interesting that you added Ritz-Carlton in your list as the line hasn’t even sailed a ship yet. Plus some of the lines you are including are premium lines, not luxury.

You have forgotten about French company: PONANT! Its chic and really sophisticated and "légere" elegance, the " private yachting feeling" make PONANT "la crême de la crême"! They have something all of these 10 lines don't have: unique style!
And the "COMMANDANT CHARCOT" and "LE PONANT" - OMG!
Strictly for old money style people of class!

Azamara should be better than Seabourne or Silversea? Have you ever been on these ships?

Some one died on Viking Cruises recently and Silversea now owns the Silver Endeavour which was previously know as the Crystal Endeavour. No way these cruiselines are in the same league with Silversea and Ritz.

Most of these shipping lines are either Royal Caribbean or Carnival or Norwegian Cruise line and do not reflect how these companies were before being purchased by the main players in the game.Just returned from a Silversea cruise on the new Silver Nova and it’s nothing like how Silversea used to be. Have done a few Regent cruises I wonder if they are as they were.

The next time you do one of these. please mention the cruise line you are talking about more than once. Definitely at the end and a couple of times during the piece.
