DIY Easy Candle Stand | DIY Candleholder Centerpiece | Modern Contemporary Votive Holder Decor

In this video, I have attempted to create a candle stand by using some stuff that you can find easily around you like an embroidery hoop, a tree branch, the end of a crescent roll tube and some scrap wood pieces. The unique design of the candle stand gives an illusion that the candles are not straight or are touching the hoops, but its really not. This illusion is the beauty of this candle stand!

Just grab those hoops, join them to the tree branch by making a small cut on the branch and stick them using some wood glue. For the base, use some scrap wood pieces and join the hoop to the base with some wood glue. And of course, for the part that will hold the candles, remove the metal plate end of a crescent roll tube and stick them in the dowels which are joined to the tree branch in shape of a letter ‘L’. Check out the video to know a cool way of how to make these 'dowel- branch joint' more sturdy. And your candle stand is ready. This candle holder is not only quick to make but also cheap on your pockets.

SUPPLY-
1. Any tree branch
2. Chisel (for removing the bark of the branch)
3. 3 embroidery hoops- One big size and two small ones of same size
4. Spray paint in copper (you can use any metallic color)
5. Wood cutting knife
6. Wood glue
7. Masking tape
8. Pencil
9. Clamps
10. Wood piece in the size 2” X 4”
11. A mix of deep brown and black acrylic color
12. One wooden dowel of 10 ¾”
13. One piece of skewer stick
14. Drill
15. Finished nail (to join the small base to the main base)
16. All-purpose construction adhesive
17. Metal end of the crescent roll
18. Super glue
19. Votive candles (you can also use battery operated candles)
20. Any smaller size, scrap wood piece
21. Copper acrylic color
