I had read fertilize every other week for container roses (which I just started doing with fish fertilizer). In your opinion, is that too much?

Since the granular fertilizer you showed had such high NPK, I'm assuming it was not an organic fertilizer? I have been fertilizing my roses since their first year with organic fertilizers in granular form (granulated chicken manure and worm castings).
