We lost only one set in the tournament and we have beaten the world champions, the euopean champions and the former olympic champions from Tokyo 2020. The best team won with a genius coach like Julio Velasco.

I'm so glad Italy did not let US win gold heading into Los Angeles as a 2x Olympic champions. So happy for these Italian girls as the greats like Piccinini, Del Core, Gioli, Lo Bianco etc never got to experience being in the podium at the Olympics
