While searching for their missing father the Hardy Boys explore some leads. But this tips off the bad guys. They find their friend Wanda Kay after she had finished some snooping but her car won't start. So they take this opportunity to grab her. We next see Wanda bound and gagged in an undisclosed basement. Later Frank and Joe find the basement room in the back of a cave where Wanda Kay and their father are being held captive. Pretty short but some good struggling for old animation!
