This reminds me of the time in senior year where me and a few classmates for a group project had to pick an album and make a short film with it. One of my favorite assignments because my friend picked After Hours. Little did I know, that would officially introduce me to The Weeknd and I would be XO ever since. The short film was also inspired off of the After Hours short film. It was honestly awesome to me because I put on fake makeup like I got beat up and wandered around the city and it ended with me staring at a rising sun.

That is honestly how i remember this era, how it's floating through my head.
Imagine coding a game, in which you're just walking through the empty streets of the dark, red and yellowish Las Vegas and depending on the place your standing and the way you're going, the more you get to hear glimpses of the Album much in the way you did them.

Listening to this in bed with my eyes closed, suddenly I’m teleported back to where I was in March 2020 when the world went to hell for a bit

My grandparents’ basement, northern Wyoming. My community college shuttered its doors, and for a month we didn’t have any classes. Being out in the country, watching the world go psycho, listening to this album. What an experience it was.

I don’t miss 2020, but I’m fs hella nostalgic for some parts of it.
