How do you remove bolts already in the toilet bowl?

If for someone the bolts have fallen in the toilet seat then straighten and link together 3 docuement pins with one end bent like a hook. The washer should be pretty easy to get out but the bolt is the real puzzle. Use a flathead screwdriver to get the bolt on its side so it can be hooked and pulled out. Took me maybe an hour, but got them out.

I don't know why almost every video is about the Laufen Pro? Mine was bought 2 years ago and Laufen was not cheap but with two big screws instead of the clicking buttons; after removing the screws for cleaning I was not able to align the two holes with the two vertical anchors -- very frustrating! If I still can't find any instructional videos, I might try to buy the Laufen Pro toilet cover, hopefully the Pro and non-Pro are

All these Laufen tutorials only show the basics! How do you adjust the width of the fittings on the seat to align with the bolts on the toilet? My seat is off to one side by 6 mm!

how is the laufen lua soft close seat installed? And how is it removed?

If anyone's wondering what spanner to use, it was a 10mm nut for me to tighten. Hopefully it stays this way for a while now.. I had to tighten it about half a year ago as well, and it quickly came loose after a few weeks or something :/
