Nothing wrong with white labeling. And nothing wrong with pointing it out. Thank you for serving your viewers!

I respect that you aren’t afraid to call out companies that send you stuff on things. Most of the major reviewers won’t do this. 👀

Good video. I don't like how Kensui advertises these as calibrated, when they are not. While machining is nice, calibration means going back in after the fact and addint weight as necessary to get it to the standard +/- 10g rating as you mentioned. I don't believe Xmaster claims calibrated.

Googled the name of the company, big mistake. It's going to be a tough one to explain to Saint Peter...

Xmaster, not to be confused with Xhamster... Whatever that is lol

I have to use a Rogue Stump because of the limited space we have. These plates seem perfect to use being so thin

How you just gonna do this review with that green beauty in the background? Can't wait for that review!

Appreciate the details about how the plates are made and the background videos. Again, a lot of heavy lifting in the editing room here!

I just really wish XMaster would change their name…

Nice plates! I like the cut-outs to grip easier.

I have XMasters: 3 pairs of the 45’s and 1 pair of the 25’s. I may complete the set on their next big sale.
I like that they’re thin. Because they’re so thin, I recommend spending the extra for the grip version. While it’s not super ergonomic (they went with a hexagonal design), it’s much easier to grab the plates. I don’t think I could go back to non-grip plates.
Also, since you’re only grabbing in the same two spots, they’ll probably get less finger prints on them.
The hole tolerance is very tight, maybe a bit too much. They ring if you hit them, which may be annoying to some.

If you decide to buy them, I found that you might save money if you play around with splitting up the order (I think this is to avoid the threshold for freight). I saved a fair amount by doing an order of (1x45, 1x25) and (2x45).
I’ll note that they are also packaged well.
If you get a big order (4-5x45s or more, I’d guess) then freight may be the most cost effective.

Not a fan of how skinny they are and with the colored bands going down the middle. But it makes sense since they're calibrated.

Wish more companies would make normal cast iron chrome plates. I only know one company that does, Mayhem Strength and they cost a crap ton more for some odd reason.

I work out in a very tight space, I have to use the rogue stump barbell which has very limited sleeve length after a collar is on. My options are very limited with plates. I basically have the choice of these or the usual calibrated coloured plates, I don't like the coloured plates so that leaves these.

Update to my previous comment of an hour ago: I received a call from Will at Xmaster; he said most of his crew is on vacation this week which is why nobody returned my emails. Will was very apologetic and ensured me he will get right on replacing my 55 lb. plate. Thank you Will. No hard feelings

Kensui Fitness has some quality issues. The worst exercise equipment I have ever purchased is the Kensui Fitness AdjustaMace that broke the first time I put weight plates on it. Kensui Fitness claimed that it was made out of a strong and durable wood but it isn't. The unfinished wood also absorbs sweat, dirt, grime, and moisture. It is also over-priced at $69. I bought an Arm Assassin Strength Shop loadable steel mace, which is far stronger and durable than the Kensui Fitness AdjustaMace is, for $50.
