Daphnia pulex

This is a video of Daphnia pulex (this ID is not confirmed, as this individual could possibly be D. parvula or D. pulicaria). This was found in my sample collected for me from a site in Northern California. This is huge, about 2-3 mm long, in my Simocephalus size range. It shows detail of the major internal organs and identifying features, such as the pecten (although not very well).
