An alternative solution that’s actually possible:
When grabbing the cord, never look at it. This will create a quantum superposition, meaning the cable will both plug in correctly or fail to do so at the same time until it doesn’t work.

I usually look at the cable and the port and get it first try and depending on where the port is I actually do it faster by a quick glance
