Appreciate this channel! I missed out AI stocks in October but positioning dividend stock at the same time . I’m already retired 3 years ago so Investing in dividend stocks makes sense. I don’t believe market will tank badly next year because of president election cycles. Current administration will do whatever they can to make economic in better shape artificially. For examples: Lower oil price, lower interest rates, and more loan assistance programs (IMO: kicking the can down to future).
Russes 2000 makes sense, but not for retirees. Yes, investing dividend incomes is a better choice, especially lower interest rate environment. Thank you my favorite channel! Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to all of you

I’m running with TLT and TMF… I like your ENPH idea. I almost bought it when it was below $100, but TLT and TMF seemed too much like a layup with the expected rate cuts for 2024.

bought some SSNT with loose change the other day when it was at a low point....boy is it volatile but fun to watch it be up 25% in a day

You nailed on solar and small cap ... I thought about buying RUN after you mentioned the word "solar", but did not pull the trigger ... instead I bought in TNA, but purely based on the technical set up, glad I did.

Interesting view points- greatly appreciated. Usually low interest rates helps tech space - beyond the magnificent 7, i'd also consider looking at the tier 2 tech stocks - those which havent performed as well as the 7, but in light of falling interest rates, may ride the coat tails of this year's big winners and tick upwards. Personally - i like the ETF : IGV - iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF - to express this view.

Solar seems sketchy to me. You said in video rates would need to be cut considerably to rally solar stocks, but IMO only scenario where Powell cuts rates that much is it economy is faltering badly. And if that's the case, ppl probably won't have the confidence or financial ability to install expensive solar projects. Just my opinion

thanks colin, banks and reits were slaughtered in 2023 as well - by the way your HD, NKE and BAC picks have been doing very well recently!
