Overzealous? You took a bribe and broke the law and tried to use your "public office" as a defense yet spent none of that money on the public. You broke the law and should have been prosecuted, period. Next time don't break the law if you don't want to interact with U.S. prosecutors.

In every criminal case that isn't settled, the prosecution either 'wins' (defendant found guilty), or 'loses' (defendant found not guilty). Guilt must be proved beyond a reasonable doubt. The fact someone is found not guilty, or a verdict is overturned on appeal, doesn't mean the case shouldn't have been brought, nor that the prosecutor didn't do a good job.

The misuse of presidential pardon and decadence in America is glaring in these cases

"Over zealous" verses 'overly corrupt". My vote would be for Jack Smith doing the "zealous" job he was trained to do.

Disgusting how these politicians get away with what they do

Having read the Supreme Court's opinion in McDonnell's case, I'd say that if his conduct wasn't illegal, it needs to be made illegal just as soon as possible. The man's lack of sham is astonishing.

The truly great thing about Jack Smith is that he's not afraid to lose a case. We need more prosecutors like that.

Imagine that, a corrupt politician who got off on account of privilege complaining about being held accountable.

Do you really expect an unbiased opinion when asking a criminal what he thinks about his prosecutor?

The law is very clear when it comes to treason.

Asking someone who was convicted for their opinion on the prosecutor who got him convicted is ludicrous.

Jack Smith gets them to hold them accountable and the Republican crooks let them off.

John Roberts and the cooked court overturning your conviction doesn't exactly paint you as not guilty.

Just listening further. Good God, just because scotus found a reason to clear you, does not mean you're not guilty of something. Or a scumbag. Or both. Please.

So the two lower courts convicted McDonnell and yet the Supreme Court took it up on appeal. Wow, that's pretty unusual, but then it involved a corporate entity and a big wig governor.

Let's not forget just like this guy, Supreme Court justices can be bought. It doesn't mean that Jack Smith is overzealous, or even stretches the law. It could mean that the judges got paid.

As a longtime Virginia resident, former Governor Bob McDonnell TOOK :
- $100's of Thousands of dollars
- Home Repair
- jewelry
- clothing
- recreational items
- etc.
... McDonnell used our office to string-along a "sugar daddy" donor .
McDonnell was definitely "on the take" ✔️

Even when letting him off, Justice Roberts had to say "this is very distasteful" 💩

We already know the supreme court has no ethical rules with regard to their own behavior because they cannot settle on what is ethical for themselves. That being the case, how could they possibly decide what is ethical for others? The US legal system is in severe trouble and that fact jeopardizes the legal security of us all.
