I tried Proton VPN for a few months but found it had some issues . If I turn my computer off while the VPN was still connected the internet connection failed on start up and to get it back I had to start the VPN connect then disconnect and then shut it down . But the really bad thing was it was slowing things down very noticeably when it was NOT connected . OK when connected but slow when not and the computer behaved weird and jumpy .
It would not uninstall from control panel and I had to manually remove the files that I could find . Now the computer is behaving again . I like the Proton email but the VPN, I had no luck with it .
