Oh yeah, I saw this on Twitter. I love how there are so many small details like this in the game. For example, Not On the Sidelines plays in the Fighting Ground menu depending on how big of a win streak you have online (instrumental once you hit five wins in a row, vocals if you hit 10 wins).

On Xbox layout, the code translated to Down, RB, Up, LB, X, A, Y, B.
The code looks for the specific button pressed, not the strength of attack the button is assigned to.
You don't need to wait for the intro to play out before the VS screen.
Works online as well.
