That's why I only play chess while drunk. Playing while sober just stresses me out, but when I'm drunk I literally don't care what happens. I also feel like I play better because of it.

I mean, Ding Liren was about 2200 by the age of 14 and became World number 2 and has the second longest undefeated streak of games of all times.
So maybe there's hope, but I wouldn't bet that any of us might be Ding Liren

With the Open Italian, immediately pushing d4, Black has a lot of opportunities to equalize right out of the opening. I don't think people appreciate the fun of slowly accumulating advantages overtime and squeezing your opponent to death in seemingly equal but concrete positions, that is where I find the most of my fun in Chess.
