First - THANKS for all your vids that help us with the game. THANKS!!! The game corruption is my biggest issue. Years of gameplay is busted and must start from scratch, yet again. It is truly annoying. It would be great if we could stop the game from creating sooo many unnecessary new sims every five seconds. They game should not create a new barrister for every town in every world. Three (3) barristers should suffice, per save, as we can only actually play in one town at a time. (Three 8-Hour shifts + 24 Hours.) Excluding occurrences where only one (1) should be created (Father Winter, Tragic Clown, Grim, etc.), this should be the policy for all NPC occurrences - NO MORE THAN THREE (3) PER SAVE!! If the game did this, we would not have a bazillion sims to delete from our game and maybe, just maybe our saves wouldn't corrupt. Just my humble opinion. Just Keep Simmin'. . . .

Plan on updating today! Thanks for the info, especially valuable was the last portion of video dedicated to the major bugs not yet fixed. Appreciate you explaining the suggested work arounds! Have been working on a “Base Save File” for myself and now have a list of do and do not 🙏

The new update added another bug in For Rent (that's all I needed!). The lease lengths reset every time I load up my game making it practically impossible to review agreements and justly evict tenants.

The sims being unable to water planters can be worked around with "testingcheats on" and shift-clicking to set the gardening state but that's a pain if one has a huge garden.

The game is so buggy now that I just play one household per save so if one save gets corrupted, I've other saves. I've got my eye on Inzoi.

I've stopped using rental lots in my game because when I've put sims into the buildings, I never see them in turning up in the world. I haven't talked to Trashley as I was warned about him. Takes for the update.

18:12 It mentions deleting sims you don't use from time to time. I have been deleting townie/randomly generated (randos) sim ghosts (if I see them in my friend panel) for a long time. (Unless they are family or whatever) And in the past year or two, if I see randos with unusually horrible outfits, I tend to axe them as well. I am not a CAS person and many rando outfits don't bug me that much, but If they do, I just delete them because I hate CAS. I also hate multi-use names, so if there is a random "Alice" that has popped up, I will get rid of her because there is already like 80 Townie Alices (at the beginning at least) in the game. With all the bazillions of names that has existed on the planet in the last 7000 years of recorded history, EA has to put townie/rando names on repeat. Another thing that might help, is deleting randos with traits that bug you. Klepto pop up when you meet them in SanMyshuno? Adios Amigo! Hot-head in DelSol? Au revoir! (edit) If you have the romance pack, you can delete sims that pop up in there. A slob sim from Oasis Springs? Adieu!

I wasn't aware of any updates as I know of. I only turned on my game last night specifically for some screenshots of my characters for an upcoming Corporate Garbage Can video involving the new Snow White film.

Regarding the prevention of save corruption, I have a question. It says there to delete sims that you don’t play from time to time. Does deleting them safe? Will the game have issues? What if the sim that you delete is usually the delivery/mailman? Or that the sims are in your relationship panel?

My game has been crashing 5-10 mins into gameplay ever since the update ( I don't have for rent or business and hobbies) I only have MCCC, WW, better exceptions and More Columns. I know the update caused it because the day before it auto updated, I could play the game comfortably for hours. Now I can't get past ten minutes. I took out all those mods and conflicting CCs and tried playing the game and had the same problem. Any advice?

i have issues with a mod since the update i also had the same with the update 2 weeks ago . and i am not sure if its the mod itself as i did a redownload after the update and then again yesterday . if anyone knows why of have had this themselfs please get back to me ?

I can tell you what is not fixed in my game anyway.. the new pack is BROKEN!! you can not get into a proper basement view.. the view you get is from the first floor looking down.. the more levels you go down, your view still remains from the main first floor!! I also have problems with two worlds showing up in the map, but only one is a working world map.. plots of land all over all the worlds are screwed up beyond belief.. they either do not show up with the buildings on the lots or different buildings are shown on the lots which are not really on the lots.. that is flat out broken AF!! And breast sliders are BROKEN!! They like to change size randomly, not only my sim, but other NPC sims as well.. never had problems with most of the bugs this game has generated over time.. this time, in my game its a complete and utter disaster!!
