1. peel your cassava roots, wash until clean
2. soak in a clean water for 3 to 4 days
3. it should be very smooth by now drain the water
4. get a bowl of clean water set it aside
5 get a colander or sieve to separate the fibre from the cassava
6. once you are done allow it to settle for 2 hours
7. drain the water on top
8. pour the bottom part into a cheese cloth to allow the excess water to drain
9. by now your fufu paste is ready
10. pour in a bowl and store in your fridge or freezer
11. to make the swallow pour into your pot and add a very little amount of water and continue to stir on a low heat
