So after 2 years of Govt. Covid assistance for the 1, 400 furloughed staff at 80% of their salary, but NO direct cash assistance to the foreign owner (the had requested UKP 150 million) the Dubai owners say "We've been losing money for 2 years, and our solution is to fire you all and replace you with cheap Bangladeshi staff." A dedicated manager will ask a employee anything. They will ask an employee who is laid off on Friday to come in on Saturday due to the back log of work. A manager said this to me and was upset when I said I needed to look for a job.
