Awesome.... I am Balinese and lucky I could see this beautiful video. ....
Tentu, saya dapat menjelaskan tentang Ogoh-Ogoh dalam bahasa Inggris:

*What is Ogoh-Ogoh?*
Ogoh-Ogoh is a traditional Balinese art form that originates from Bali, Indonesia. It is a statue or puppet made from materials such as paper, wood, or bamboo, and is decorated with bright colors and ornaments.

*Meaning of Ogoh-Ogoh*
Ogoh-Ogoh has several meanings, including:

1. *Expeller of Bhuta Kala*: Ogoh-Ogoh is believed to have the power to expel Bhuta Kala, which are evil spirits that are believed to bring bad luck and evil.
2. *Symbol of Victory*: Ogoh-Ogoh is also a symbol of victory over evil and bad luck.
3. *Reminder of Justice*: Ogoh-Ogoh is also a reminder of justice and equality.

*Process of Making Ogoh-Ogoh*
The process of making Ogoh-Ogoh is usually done by the Balinese community, especially by young people. They will make Ogoh-Ogoh using available materials such as paper, wood, or bamboo.

*Ogoh-Ogoh Ceremony*
The Ogoh-Ogoh ceremony is usually held on the day before Nyepi, which is the Balinese New Year. The ceremony begins with a procession of carrying Ogoh-Ogoh around the village, followed by the burning of Ogoh-Ogoh as a symbol of expelling Bhuta Kala.

Thanks for sharing, absolutely incredible. The detail, colours and size of most was truly amazing and hard work moving around for the parade.

The size and detail in them is incredible. We watched it years ago on Jalan Legian at Bemo corner. Was a very hot humid night no breeze and packed into a crowd of thousands was intense. Was an awesome experience especially partying with all the locals after the parade. No wonder they have Nyepi the next day we needed it to recover. Great Vid thanks Adam brought back great memories.👌👍

Thanks for the excellent coverage.
The details and parade choreography are amazing as usual.
It's been about 10 years since our last Nyepi day.🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for this video Adam. It looked fantastic. I left Bali 3 days before Nyepi and now I’m back in Melbourne. But next year definitely, I’ll do Ogoh Ogoh.

Thanks Adam, good to see how Sanur does Nyepi, I heard you mention Sumba and I only read about it this past week. Have you been? I had no idea they have their own unique belief system and double the size of Bali. This time around Sanur is winning for me for liveability over Ubud, thank goodness for my peaceful bungalow
Cheers 🥂
