This video covers the basic structure of the human brain, looking at the following structures and their basic configuration:

- Brainstem: pons, medulla, midbrain
- Cerebellum
- Cerebral peduncles
- Basal ganglia: putamen and globus pallidus
- Thalami
- Ventricular system
- Cortex
- Lobes of the brain
- White matter tracts: internal capsule, corona radiata

Thank you. Clears a lot of things up that get confused looking at 2-D illustrations. One point. The epithalamus is an important part of the dienchephalon connecting the pineal gland to the rest of the brain including the hypothalamus, giving credence to it being not only the "Third Eye", but also the "Master Gland". It looks kind of like a tail ending in the pineal gland in this 3-D video of the brain. The pineal gland is considered to be a part of the epithalamus.

I wish I'd had this 25 years ago, embarking on study of psychology -- I am a bit spatially impaired, and I had a hell of a bad time visualizing these structures in three dimensions. There were no programs back then that rotated the images like this. A great addition to the study tools for a vital but complex topic.

if you type in the search bar of Zygote Body "brain", it will isolate the brain and you can then "pin" it as well. Can be a bit tricky sometimes isolating certain structures!
