For a book to movie, I'm reading Ray Bradbury's The Halloween Tree. It's a middle grade book and fairly short. I used to love the movie so I'm excited to read the book for the first time and watch the movie as an adult.

Phantom of the opera was a great read, but it is a little long if you want to read so many books. But worth your time!

I read nd watched Matilda! It's really quick. Charlotte's Web, Because of Winn-Dixie and other children's classics are great for this challenge

Maybe Charlie and the chocolate factory or Coraline, Rise of the guardians, the bfg, or how to train your dragon all have books that are relatively short

My suggestion for a book to movie adaptation is Cyrano deBergerac. It's wonderful and, since it's a play, it's a quick read.

I'm so excited for Booktubeathon! Hoping this year I will be successful at reading 7 books lol. Some book to movie adaptations that come to mind are Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, Everyday by David Leviathan, A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle (there's a graphic novel version too now), Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan, Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple, The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer and To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han . Have you read Brooklyn by Colm McCann? Movie has Saoirse Ronan in it and both are great!

austenland is a duology and the first book is a movie. they're fun cheesy rom coms that are easy to fly through. the movie isn't exactly a masterpiece but it's sweet and funny.
