The SUNDAYS - Here's Where The Stories Ends ( Long Version )

This debut album from The Sundays is guaranteed to make you smile and feel happy all over. Formed in England at Bristol University in the late 80′s, The Sundays have only released 3 albums in their career and are technically still on a hiatus that has lasted over 15 years. Combining David Gavurin’s light and wistful guitar playing, similar to the Byrds’ Roger McGuinn or the Smiths’ Johnny Marr, with vocalist/wife Harriet Wheeler’s soaring, angelic voice, there is not a dud anywhere to be found on this release. Everyone is waiting semi-patiently for another disc from The Sundays, but until then – this one and the 2 follow-ups (Blind from 1992 and Static and Silence in 1997) are pure magic.

I'm 68, I first heard them about 7 years ago. Totally fell in love with the music and Harriet's voice...I've missed so much in my life. Wish they still made music.

I was born in '83 and got to grow up in the 90's. I feel so lucky to have been a teen in that era. There was so much good music, no matter the genre...rock, hip hop, techno....didn't matter. It was all good. Love the mood and atmosphere this band creates. Love the Sundays.

I would bet the Person who fancied himself some kind of Audio Editor/Remix Joker, either wasn't a Musician in the Least, Probably Plays NO Instruments, or if I'm wrong and perhaps they do Play Some Instrument, they're either Horrible Player and or Definitely an Amateur... Never Learned to Figure out and Play and Perform a Song from Beginning to end with a Band or even couple Players, in theory it's a Noble Concept to Envision a Long Version of The Sunday's Broke Big in 1990-1991 Household Name Famous Song...but this is Butchery that lacks Substance and Creative Skills or Cohesion, Off Kilter (Tempo wise in a Few Spots!) And Nearly Crashes in Bafoonery...Nice To Be Thinking about the Sundays, and Yes We ALL Desperately Miss Harriet and David, But with THIS, you have actually Done MORE Harm than Any Good, My Hope is that say Somebody who NEVER actually Heard the Sundays, Clicks on this Hideous Extended Numb Skull Version, and Thinks...W.T.F.!? The Sundays SUCK! If you have Any Respect for Our Beloved Sundays, Please Take This Down, and or Make a MUCH Better Effort, hand it to a Few Different Audio ReMix Buddies and Objectively See Who comes up with the Best Extended Version that Is Imaginative and Not Only Does Justice to out Beloved Sundays, but Actually Improves this Legendary "Story Ends" Household Name Hit Song

I’m not liking it. I’d rather play the original version in a loop just my own opinion.
