15 minutes of searching and finally found the answer. But really, no background music while explaining stuff. Thanks

Thanks. I'm renovating a house and had called for water to be turned on. I was afraid I would go and see a flooded basement.

Hi, thanks for the info. I'm not sure if it's your editing or YouTube, but the music is waaaay louder than your voice.

my valve is weird. it doesn't catch, and goes past the catch and can spin forever. can I simply make it perpendicular to make it off?

when u face the valve and move it to right -- thats how you close it -- may persons have broken valves trying to open or close it because they don't know in which direction to move.. so when u face it move to right to shut while if its parallel then its open
