In the end, if the jury really thought it was a sham trial and politically motivated, they had all the power to acquit if they wanted to, and nobody can question them on how they came up with it. They could've just as easily decided to purposely have a hung jury, not convicting him. Again, there is nobody to answer to.
They saw the evidence and heard the testimony. In the end, the DA and the judge had no power over the jury.
THEY found him guilty of ALL charges because that's what THEY found to be the just verdict.
That's our system of law and order. 12 everyday people deciding the fate of the accused.
Not the DA and not the judge. The Jury. Respect our institutions.
