Have you tried using the selection tool then hue, saturation and brightness technique to do your shading ? I think it’s much faster and leaves a great result in the end

Nice video and that was weird with the bag or paper opening the door . I agree with u, Calvin’s brushes are the only water color set I use. And he basically uses like 2 brushes & a blender. He has a few tuts on painting ppl and he copies his characters multiple times to make opaque. I would recommend to ur viewers to follow him as well. and my tip would be to try to be happy with their sketch before painting to try and avoid using liquefy
