The purpose of this video is to continue the conversation about Generative AI and try to look at some other perspectives. This is a complicated issue and nobody today feels qualified to talk about it. Let's just start talking about it.

All music and some imagery in this video were generated with AI. I am not AI, I'm a real human... I think. The forest is also a real forest, that wasn't AI generated. If you want an AI generated forest next time, please comment and say so below!

I discovered your channel today and I must say I'm thoroughly enjoying your content.

While I agree with most of your points, I would argue that the artistic community's complaint isn't about the possibility of their art being used as training tools without their consent, as they often claim.

In my opinion, they simply sought a way to raise an ethical and moral debate (and they succeeded) to try to hinder the use of AI image generation tools. Notably, they never raise the same debate in the context of programming, music, etc., revealing their underlying fear of their work being devalued.

Despite this, I view these tools as a significant benefit to society (and I say this as a musical composer and sound designer). They empower us to elevate our creations and democratize art, allowing us to express ourselves without necessarily possessing technical mastery. For instance, you can now express your soul through music, and I can bring incredible ideas to life using art generation tools.

In the past, there have been protests against cameras, uber, and now generative AI tools. However, I believe technology will continue to thrive.
