If you want to use the nas with a mac and with a windows: you would have to chose Generic Unix (NFS) on minute 4:23. Is that right??

Good info and video. Any suggestions on how to plug a 3.5" hdd to a laptop ? I'm thinking I might beabule to us a separate power block/PSU to power the hdd. Will motherboard brake if the data spot plugged in and the power not plugged in(the hdd mount spot)
