Why not using the high-performance mode on OP12 though? The argument that the OP12 comes out of the box with it deactivated doesn’t make to much sense to me tbh. I’d rather think that a fair test would be if it’s turned on, using all of the power that it has to offer 👀😅

There is no option for high-performance mode on the iPhone 16, and you are utilizing the full power of the A18 Pro chip by default. However, on OnePlus, you're not utilizing the full performance of 8 Gen 3 by keeping that mode disabled.

I really like how iOS scrolls on small nudges, like at 4:08, it has less friction than Android and just keeps going. In my opinion, it creates a more pleasant scrolling experience. On the other hand, I like how quickly you can scroll on Android. Overall though, I don't know what is it about iOS, but no matter how much they try to copy it, it still somehow has more pleasant animations.

Its becoming obvious, if an app is not launching just as fast as on the latest Android, its most likely the developer is not compiling the optimizations. For many of those third party devs, they probably say, I don't think most users care about a millisecond different either. Could you do a comparison between the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the iPhone (2007) next? (runs and hides).
