"me and you each are dying to work" Jonah is so precious, determined, and positive. I admire both of your approaches to illness. For those who like to observe, there is much to learn about facing adversity from the both of you. I am grateful.

PRAYing! ... for each of the various health needs; for strength and stamina; for wisdom and insights as daily homestead decisions are made... 🙏🙏🙏
I am impressed with the dynamics of the young men thinking through problems for different/improved solutions, and bringing you their suggestions. The capstone is your willingness and skill in giving them credit on the vlogs. It teaches us viewers that success on the homestead is the result of good teamwork. 🤠

An idea for your pastured trees. Put mulch and cardboard down to kill the grass inside the fenced area or a little beyond it and you might not need to string trim. Love you guys, your an inspiration to us all. Thanks for everything.

Lily straight up telling dad what's what with the milking <3 Love it! One day I'm gonna take a week off work, head up to y'all's stead, then sit with the kids and reorganize y'all's tools and supplies so they're easy to find, easy to inventory, and easy to put back where they go ;)

Oh loves. I have commented once before regarding Jonah. Your journey touches my families heart so deeply. My husband had a similar injury when he was 14 because of a motorcycle accident. He is now in his mid 60's and he only watches your videos when it is about Jonah because he is your boys biggest cheerleader. When all was said and done John (my husband) ended up with a 5 inch leg discrepancy (please get Jonah a lifted shoe as soon as it makes sense to your medical team) - John did not do this until his 40's and caused himself so much spinal damage. Watching Jonah walk is like seeing my husband when I first met him. Brings up so many emotions! The leg discrepancy happens because of bone death in a time of big growing. While John has had a hard row to hoe in many ways. At 45 he got a full hip replacement and they extended his leg by 4 inches. It was life changing. He has had a full life; worked a physical job (auto detailer and custodian) for his whole adult working life and wouldn't change anything. It made him into the man he became. Flowers grow in the shit life puts in front of us. I know this is hard. Our hearts are with you.

Core decompression in both of my hips staved off twenty years of me needing a total hip replacement on one of my hips. And, as for the other hip I still haven’t needed the replacement. Both of my hip dockets were totally dead and that is called AVN. I was fortunate that my hip Doctor is a surgeon and physician to the Spur’s basketball team. I’ll be praying for you Jonah!

❤That’s not skipping church if God tells you to ‘go be my hands and feet’. That’s God’s LOVE, Mercy, kindness, provision, etc. God loves you and your beautiful family.

Joel Salatin is amazing! I wished I had known of him years ago. Family Friendly Farm book goes beyond than just farming but parenting as well. ❤️

I see a lot of similarities with all the Rhodes kiddos too. 💕
Many blessings and prayers of healing. Linda

Wishing Jonah a good decision for his hip and a speedy recovery and I pray all goes well for him, he is always so positive about it all and he deserves a break. Justin I pray all goes well for you too and that you may have a speedy recovery and less pain. I am so glad there are people coming to help you and the family. Take care and look after yourselves.

Justin: I wish that you would do a special video highlighting Lily! She has so many skills and so willing to help with anything. She does as much as the boys do. Your boys get motor bikes and tools and special things. I think she should get her horse!

Justin, thank you for sharing your chaos! Our farm is in flux/chaos as we develop it too. You have reminded me that my expectations are the issue. Stuff just takes time.
