Ohhh cool!! The snowflakes are awesome! I have some packing paper I hold on to from a package and I might just do something like that. :-)

Those snowflakes are epic! Love the no buy decor. I’ve had my Christmas decor for over 10 years and it always feels exciting to pull it out every year. The only thing I’d like to do is start back with getting an ornament from every country or state I visit to decorate my tree and remind me of all my fun adventures.

Lovely decorations, but do you not just reuse old decorations? I mean, the ones we own are all old (lots even from before I was born and a lot that I made when I was younger) and we reuse them and it wasn't often that things got broken, so we didn't really need to replace things (had more than enough extra because we keep all the decorations). Sometimes my mum would get me a single new decoration when I was younger for the tree or just something cheap that caught her eye (stuff we would also then keep), but that's all really.

Lovely idea, but I'm honestly surprised it's needed. Is this just an uncommon thing my family do or is it an English thing? Growing up I only ever heard about people having to get their decorations down from the attic, so I know most people I knew growing up did the same as me.

Beautiful snowflakes. Love the idea. I’m a Scrooge and really don’t buy much of anything for anyone (myself included) but I take friends out to eat and relax at local restaurants. ✌🏾

I love your channel and those are all great ideas that I am definitely taking note of. that cardboard tree is charming in a kid who eats glue kinda way 😅

I love this idea🤩 you still get to decorate as part of Christmas tradition but no money coming out of my pocket to do so.

Yes!!!! It's insane how much xmas stuff is at every thrift store all year round also. There's probably enough for everyone in the US to thrift all their holiday decor lol

A little like fairyland cottage. The lovely lady walked into the woods at the end of her garden picking diffrent coloured plants, twiggy and stones to make a christmas reath

Wooow it's beautiful Shelby!! Love it🎄🥰 My son and I we made Christmas tree ornaments with salt dough (aka flour salt and water!) It's so easy to make and good for the environment 🎄🌎 and Btw I'm so happy when you put Shorts on YouTube!!!🤩 I don't have Tik Tok and Don't plan to have it! So seeing them on YouTube is very exciting for meee ❤️ I really wish we could see more Shorts on YouTube hihi🙏🏼

It's more fun to have a holiday decor craft project anyway!

I love this challenge! I’m trying to do the same thing with sewing clothes out of just the old fabric and clothes I already have. Your decor looks amazing! 🎄

As a lazy person who goes to my parents for the holidays and doesn’t decorate at all. Girlie way ahead of ya! 😋

But also, if you MUST buy some Christmas decorations, there is pretty much no reason you have to buy it new. There are always heaps and heaps of secondhand Christmas decorations at every thrift store, antique store, estate sale, and garage sale I've been to, and I'm sure you can find plenty of secondhand Christmas stuff online as well.

Great job! We all need to bring in less and use what we already have more.
