The white version of stay strapped is exactly as I imagined 😂😂

Only works if you have space and there is no queue
devastKink
The good ol long jump to quarter turn and ride alone. My fav traverse method
BrandishingWeapons
You crushed it. But as a lifty, I don’t trust no one, you betta unstrap haha
dookiespook
Those stickers on his board definitely had something to do with this. I've done it once but the liftes weren't paying attention and then saw somebody else do it at the same lift and they got pissed
jakefrost
I have tried that before. It's a little AWKWARD, though it is able to be done. What has to be done is (AND MAKE SURE THE LIFT LINE IS EMPTY BEFORE HAND) ; As you come from riding down the Mtn., you have to carry enough speed to ride through the lift line and directly up to the lift.

Did that the day I slammed my sacrum on ice. Rode fine the whole rest of the day. When unstrapped at the end of the day couldn't walk. Had to get piggyback to my car to drive home. Walked oddly for a month.

Jerry gonna have a field day with this

I was at a small mountain for years as a lifty. We always did this whenever possible.

the lift operators that let it fly, much appreciated., , small hills are notorious for this with no lines.. ride down onto the chair if you time it right, before click-in bindings.

In the 80's and 90's we never unstrap..😅

I literally started to do the same for 2 seasons never got annoyed by someone surprisingly
kninetyone
back before the cattle gates i used to ride right into the chair area and unstrap as the chair swung around. They hated that.

Unless they literally force me I don't either. Never in the anchor lift!
Only time I do it willingly is crowded chairlifts.
If I fall in the anchor lift I have no problems getting back up with both feet strapped in, their argument is that I can die if it get stuck in the board and the safety cut off at the end doesn't work, I tried that too and no problem reaching it and get back up. But what I have seen several times is people falling and the anchor get stuck in the loose binding, twisting their leg and risking injury and they have no chance of getting out of it. But I've never seen anyone get stuck with both feet strapped other than when I did it myself on purpose to try it.

Ayeee Sugarbush I was there today for a rail jam

I grew up on a local hill outside Chicago and I never once took my back foot out for the chair

I have a strong feeling they asked the lift op if they could do this for the video and every time after that when the camera was off they unstrapped
