Stay True Sounds are very proud to announce the debut album from 26- year-old Afro House producer Hypaphonik. A South African born producer raised in Dimbaza in the Eastern Cape.
Kid Fonque first discovered Hypaphonik after licensing his remix of ‘Westside Warriors’ from Kenyan producer EUGGY and has been waving his flag ever since.

Shortly after the release of the hypnotic remix of EUGGY, Kid Fonque asked Hypaphonik to produce an EP for Stay True Sounds and the ‘Organic EP’ was born in mid 2021, a 3 tracker able to speak to every style of DJ in the underground scene in South Africa, from Black Coffee to Jullian Gomes, Fka Mash and Black Motion everyone found a powerful new producer in Hypaphonik.

Discussions were had and the next step for this rising star was to show the world his deep afro production through a full length album.
The name of this full length debut is ‘ALTAIR’ which is the brightest star in the constellation of Aquila and the twelfth-brightest star in the night sky. Very fitting for this new talent whose career has just started, and with the release of this album his future is shining VERY bright!
